Our week-long “Turn to Success” course is an additional offering based on suggestions from past students. This course includes the complete Intro 1 and Intro 2 Curriculum along with a variety of projects/and additional practice time. The fifth day may actually be the most valuable day during which each class will be given the option to discuss and/or work on one or more of the following topics: more practice/review; sharpening practice; build a saw buck; plan/design your shop layout.
At the completion of this one-week course the student will be able to confidently approach the lathe and succeed at turning mallets, bud vases, bowls, plates, candlesticks, goblets, bottle stoppers, tops and more.
All tools and supplies provided. Woodturning, a Foundation Course, new edition, by Keith Rowley is a strongly recommended text. Available at the Woodturning School for $25.
A Five-Day Class
Our five-day Turn to Success class costs $625 and includes coffee, breakfast pastries, lunches, snacks, soda and all materials.
